Destination Wedding Etiquette: 5 Things You Don't Want To Forget

There are so many situations that you encounter when planning your wedding destination that you would not need to worry about at home. Destination label marriage has developed a new set of rules. Do not let this intimidate you. You can have an incredible marriage of destination of your dreams (and still not offend nobody).

1. When you decided to have a destination wedding, you've probably done with the understanding that not everybody would be able to do so. This is the fairest way of destination weddings. There are many reasons to come. Money, distance or all the work come into play.

Do not forget to provide a lot of notice for everyone to plan. Send to save the date cards 7-12 months in advance, if you can. This will give your guests time to put money or to arrange a leave of work. Many of your customers will be able to do with a lot of notice. They even extend their May holiday.

2. Make arrangements with a destination wedding travel agent. When you send save the date cards, travel agents. If all reservations are made by a supplier, they will be able to get the best deal for you all. It May be cheaper to buy a package or go ala carte. A good travel professional will be able to do it for you.

3. Ask your participants if it will not be a financial hardship for them. It is customary for the wedding party to pay for their flight, wedding clothes and activities. You should expect to pay for their hotel room. If you can afford and want to do more, it would be nice. I am sure it would be appreciated, but it is not anticipated.

4. Be sure to set up an itinerary for the visit. You need to have some planned activities. Do not feel like you need to plan every minute, however. Plan for the rehearsal dinner, wedding and after marriage.

It is good to plan an activity that is unique to the surface. Leave plenty of time for everyone to go out on their own if they wish. Also, be sure to plan once for the couple. You can place a printed itinerary with customers bags. This will allow everyone to know what is the timetable.

5. Plan a reception for the home. It need not be immediate, but you want to be sure to celebrate with all your family and friends who could not make the wedding. They want to be able to congratulate you as well.
